Airville Fire Company Fundraisers

The AIRVILLE VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY and THE AIRVILLE VOLUNTEER AUXILIARY generate a large portion of their income through fundraising events. In addition to training, meetings, fire prevention and handling emergency calls, many hours are spent each year in the pursuit of raising funds to make the purchases necessary to run our department.

In addition to fundraising, income is generated through solicitation drives, donations, grants, state relief fund allocations and funding from Lower Chanceford Township. It's with pride that our organizations can make the following claims for purchases made since 2004:

Purchased 4 acres of land and built a new 6 bay station with a full kitchen and banquet hall.
No mortgage/Paid in full.

Purchased a "new" used 6 man cab Engine.
Paid in full.

A second set of Rescue tools for patient extrication.
Paid in full.

Purchased and equiped a brand new 2008 4 door Utility pick-up truck.
No payments/Paid in full (The truck, less lighting and lettering, was entirely Auxiliary funded).

Purchased a brand new 2009 Peterbuilt 3,000 gallon Tanker from Freedom Fire Apparatus in Georgia.
No payments/Paid in full.

Every effort has been made by our organization to be financially responsible for our community and the people that we serve. We hope that the citizens of our Township find comfort in knowing that we are protecting and preserving the critical emergency based assets that respond in their time of need. With the price of equipment and gear, it is not easy to do, but our organizations are commited to being responsible stewards of your donations and contributions.
